EnergoPet was founded in 1997 with both domestic and foreign capital investments. The intention of the founders was to build a PET production factory that would serve the domestic market and remove the need for the import of PET preforms.

The factory initially had a capacity of about 70,000,000 units per year and a product line that enabled the manufacture of 1,5 and 0,5 L PET bottles, which accommodated needs of the market at that time. Today, the factory has a capacity of about 1,200,000,000 units per year, making the company a quality supplier to many producers of mineral water and beverages in the region. EnergoPet satisfies the needs of the domestic market with high quality preforms and its market share is continuously growing.
